Here we are in August and the summer is flying by. The first weekend we camped out in Madison since I was riding the Ironman course with TriWisconsin. Diana and Cassie were great helpers as they volunteered at one of the parks to provide us all with drinks and food. We enjoyed the rest of the weekend hanging out in Madison and made the required stop at the Old Fashioned for some fried cheese curds.
This past weekend I went out to Dodgeville (west of Madison) to ride in the Dairyland Dare bike ride with a friend. We rode 150 k (98 miles) through the HILLY Wisconsin countryside with the route having over 10,000 ft in elevation gain. That marked 4 weeks until race day, so it's coming up quick. Coming up this weekend we are heading down to Chicago to visit some friends and go to a beer festival. Then next week we have visitors when Mom and Emma come to visit and Emma is going to spend a day shadowing Diana at the PT clinic.
And now the monthly Cassie pictures. Every time I try to do some stretching or yoga in the same room as Cassie, she thinks it's play time and brings a toy over to me.
