We are finishing up September and fall has entered Wisconsin. Leaves are falling and temps are near freezing overnight.

Things are a little less hectic... for me now that ironman is done... but more hectic for Diana now that the rowing season is in full swing. She is learning the ropes of being head coach of the varsity women's team and is doing a great job turning the team around. But it means early mornings out in the cold on the river, which is tough when she loves sleep.

Two weekends ago was the first race of the season, the
Milwaukee River Challange and we spent most of the day down at the river.
This past weekend was
Doors Open Milwaukee, which is an event where many buildings in Milwaukee are open for the public to tour.
We went downtown on Saturday and toured City Hall, the Pfister Hotel, the city courthouse, the Northwestern Mutual building, the US Bank building, and the art museum. The northwestern mutual building was very ornate with marble everywhere. The tour also pointed out that all employees get free lunch everyday... free for them that is. In the US Bank building we went to the top (41st floor) to get a great view of the city.

And lastly, here are the Cassie pictures. We have been working on her frisbee catching and she is doing great. She did have an instance of eating a sock the other day, but her solid digestive system popped it out the next day.
